Logan A. Yelderman, Ph.D.

Dr. Logan A. Yelderman received his BA in psychology and communications specialist from Baylor University and his MA and PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Dr. Logan is an assistant professor of psychology at Prairie View A&M University and specializes in research related to social psychology, religion, and law. He has published articles in journals including Psychology of Religion and Spirituality, Psychology, Crime & Law, Psychiatry, Psychology and Law, the Juvenile and Family Court Journal, and Personality and Individual Differences. His main interests involve understanding how individuals’ religious beliefs, cognition, and emotions relate to legal decisions (i.e., juries and parole boards), public policy support, and interactions with offenders and individuals with mental illness. He also works with juvenile drug treatment court teams to help implement best practices.
